Bábbarra Women’s Centre

Bábbarra Women’s Centre is a collection of women from more than 12 language groups in the Maningrida region of Arnhem Land. The women come together to share knowledge and ideas, and collaborate on their main social enterprise, Babbarra Designs. Operating since 1989, they hand print exquisite textiles, enabling financial independence for their community and the next generation.
