Yalanji Arts

Lot 1, Mossman Gorge Road, Mossman, QLD, 4873

Yalanji Arts presents contemporary and traditional fine art and crafts celebrating culture and the deep respect, knowledge and connection to the richly diverse rainforest and ocean environments of Kuku Yalanji Country.

Located in Mossman Gorge Aboriginal Community, on the border of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, Bamanga Bubu Ngadimunku (BBN) Aboriginal Corporations’ Yalanji Arts Indigenous art centre nurtures and develops artists to showcase culture and generate individual and community growth. Fostered through artistic expression, Yalanji Arts envisages an empowered, united, proud and sustainable community. Yalanji Arts provides support and advocacy for local artists, assisting in development through ongoing training and marketing.

BBN and Yalanji Arts are located in the Mossman Gorge Aboriginal Community (The Gorge), situated on Eastern Kuku Yalanji Country on the border of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, approximately 70km north of Cairns. Eastern Kuku Yalanji County stretches from Black Mountain in the north, along the coastal plain to Mowbray in the south.

We are in Darwin only for DAAF 2023. We are not selling artwork online this year. Thank you!
